Welcome to the Sunriver Dance Studio!
We are pleased to have you/your child as our student. We are dedicated to providing quality instruction for all ages in the Dance Arts. Feel free to communicate with the director and teachers so that we may serve you best!

Our year:
- Classes begin September 8, 2025 and end with our Recital around the beginning to mid June 2026.
- Fall Term Sept. 8th-Dec.12th 2025. Fall/Winter Recital TBA.
- Winter/Spring Term Jan.6th- beginning/mid June 2026. (Recital date TBA)
- If you cannot attend your class, leave a voice message at 541-593-8404, text 541-390-3963 and/or email.
- Vacations/Breaks consist of Thanksgiving Break (Nov 24-28), Winter Break (Dec. 15th thru Jan. 4th, 2026), Spring Break (March 23th - March 27th 2026).
- School conferences, work days, and other holidays DO NOT affect our schedule. Classes will run for Veteran's Day, MLK Day, and Memorial Day.
- Ice or snow days are determined by the closing of Bend/Lapine Schools and especially Three Rivers School as reported by the media (or call 541-323-SNOW). Classes cancelled by SDS due to inclement weather or teacher illness will be rescheduled.
Dress Code
Students are REQUIRED to have appropriate dancewear & shoes. Please pay attention to your specific class dress codes. Dancers are to be ready, meaning hair and attire, before class starts. Please have secure water bottles to bring in studio for class.
REQUIRED DRESS CODES PER CLASSES:
Storybook Ballet, Kid-A, Ballet 1, 2, 3, 4: Pink tights, Pink Ballet shoes, leotard with skirt of any color. Hair in bun. (Kid-A will also need black tap shoes).
Hip Hop 1, 2, 3 : Leggings, sweats, b-ball shorts, t-shirt any style. CLEAN athletic shoes that are secure to feet. No Jeans.
Lyrical 1, 2, 3, Jazz 1, 2, 3: Leggings, leotard and/or tight fitting shirts. For Lyrical: Bare feet, half sole shoes, or pink ballet shoes. For Jazz: black or tan Jazz shoes. Hair out of face.
Cheer 1, 2: Leotard or shorts unitard, shorts or leggings. Form fitting clothes only, NO jewelry. Clean athletic shoes, secure to the foot. Hair in low pony, or out of face.
Tap 1, 2, 3 : Leggings/shorts, t-shirt. No jeans. Black tap shoes. Hair out of face.
Ladies Night: Leggings/shorts, any style shirt. Shoes of your choice between athletic shoes and chunky heel, no thin heels or over 3" tall.

Tuition
Tuition payment is due by the l5th of the month. Late payments will result in a $10.00 late fee.
There is a $20.00 registration fee per student for each dance year ( Sept 8th - June 2026). *Second child 50% off registration fee.
Late payments will result in a $10.00 late fee, and added to tuition balance if not paid by the 15th of the month.
We accept cash, check and Venmo (@sunriverdancestudio).
*There is a 10% discount for paying for a Term in advance. Tuition is per student. Term balance MUST be paid within 10days of registration date to recieve discount or 10% discount will not be applied to balance.
Pay by the Month or Term (3/5 Months). Fall Term is 3 Months, Winter/Spring Term is 5 Months.

General Studio Policies and Disclaimers
- SDA is a smoke, alcohol, & drug free environment. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- Do not bring gum to class.
- We accept no responsibility for lost items.
- Students dance at their own risk. A release must be signed by a responsible party for each student.
- Parents are responsible for the behavior of any student who must come early or stay late after class.
- Tuition is non-refundable except in case of class cancellation where a refund will be issued for the remaining classes.
- Classes cancelled by SDA due to inclement weather or teacher illness will be rescheduled.
- No hoop earrings or other dangling jewelry allowed in class.
- Student soloists: Soloists are determined by their instructors.
Medical and Safety
I understand that dancing is a strenuous physical activity. To my knowledge, the student has no medical problems or injuries that would prevent participation in class. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform a physician of any medical issues and to obtain written consent for participation. I agree to inform the instructor(s) of any known health condition that may affect class participation.
I agree to release Sunriver Dance Studio, its participants, or any instructor from liability related to accidents, injury, illness and/or the acquisition of COVID-19 on-site. I also agree to communicate in the event I have any signs of illness, or an injury, and understand that physical clearance from a doctor may be required to return to class. By signing this agreement, I am aware that Sunriver Dance Studio will NOT be held liable for any COVID -19 cases that may be contracted during participation on studio premises-inside or outside of the building. Participation is at the risk of those teaching or taking SDS classes.
SDS reserves the right to refuse or terminate enrollment for any reasons.
Students and their guests agree to respect and care for the SDS property and equipment. I understand that students and/or guests of students that cause significant damage, will be held financially responsible for repair.
Photo/Video Release Disclaimer
I am aware that SDS films and takes photos for promotional purposes throughout the year. I grant SDS, its representatives and employees the right to film and take photographs of me, my child and/or my property in connection with these efforts. I authorize SDS, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that SDS may use video footage and photographs of me and/or my child with or without my names and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising and web content.
Annual Recitals for 2025-2026 Dance Year
All Dancers with exceptable attendence are invited to participate in our Fall/Winter show and Year-end June recital.
Fall/Winter Recital Friday, December 12th 2025 5:00pm at Three Rivers School
Our Holiday recital this year is " Winter Wonderland". This is a more casual show to bring together the studio community to celebrate Fall and Winter and for classes to get a small glimpse at performing before the big recital in June.
End-of-Year Recital
Our June Recital is held at a one of the local High School auditoriums. This is the BIG show. Our JUNE 2026 show this year is "Peter Pan".
Professional Costumes (Approx. $75-$100 per class) are ordered in JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2025 for the end-of- year recital. Professional Photos are taken once costumes come in, that will be scheduled on a weekend TBA in March/April 2026. Tuition paid May 15th-June15th covers the cost of classes and recital fee. This way everyone's recital fee is specific to the amount of hours that one student dances. End-of-year recital Tickets will be available at the Studio for families to purchase and to sell to friends/relatives one month prior to recital date.
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated for a variety of positions, including backstage crew, admissions, raffles, merchandise sales etc. Inquire with Katie or other teachers for info on being a volunteer. Volunteers get free admission to the recital they help with.
